All About Me:
My name is Mrs. Bongiovanni, and I am a 5th and 6th grade Special Education teacher. This is my third year teaching at Fredonia Middle School. I also have experience teaching in Charlotte, NC as well as in the Jamestown City School District. I currently live in Dunkirk with my husband Chad and golden retriever named Sonny. I look forward to another great year in the middle school!
What we are learning:
Currently, we are learning about the following topics in class:
Math- geometry and measurement
Social Studies- The Civil War
Science- Plate Tectonics (earthquakes and volcanoes)
ELA- We are consistently working on improving reading fluency and reading comprehension through skills practice and implementing comprehension strategies.
It is very important that students are reading on their own at home in order to continue improving.
Homework:
Students will receive homework each night Monday through Thursday, which they will write down in their agendas. These will be kept in their homework folder,
which should be returned to school daily. Students will make up any homework that was not completed during 10th period the following day.
